A fatal accident occurs around Enugu-Onisha Express Way. The incident was as a result of a Truck full of Petrol (Fuel) that broke down at the Express way.

The road where this accident occurs has been bad as of Last year. It has become a problem and a treat to human being. On Friday Last week, a truck that carried full load of Fuel spoiled at that junction where the road is bad.

Due to the bad road, coupled with the truck that blocked the road; some drivers tried to pass through a better way until another vehicle came and stopped at the same place. According to the people around the scene, they said that the drive wanted to start his car to continue his journey but unfortunately, his car ignites flame to the road.

The fuel in the truck was licking small on the road and this make the vehicle to ignite flame that courses fire on the mounting to other drivers and passenger including people around the place. The fire out brake killed (burnt people to aches) and vehicles. About eight vehicles were burnt down (One Peugeot J5, One small Private Car while the rest are 19 and 16 passenger seats).

According to an eye witness, he said that some passengers tried to escape from the Buses but they couldn’t because there is a glass protector at the bus that makes it impossible for them to escape through the window.

Looking that possibility that may course the accident, Bad road is the major things that will course road accident. Some commented that Government or Officials in-charge should start to investigate all truck to make sure they are in good condition before they will load it.

A burial arrangement had been made for the dead people. Right now the accident had brought Government attention to the road. Reconstruction of the road has begun and road safety officals are there to make sure that traveler are enjoying their journey.
