The party which accused the lawmakers of meddlesomeness alleged that the legistrators are only afraid of the 2010 election.
According to Umeh, the governor has never shied away from the issue of security in the state, adding that the claim by the lawmakers that the governor has failed in this regard was very unfortunate.
APGA leadership warned the lawmakers to stop prying into the state finances but instead should account for the N500 million allegedly paid to each of them for constituency project.
State and federal lawmakers from the state had on Monday declared that governor Obi had failed to address the problem of insecurity in the state alleging that the reported N255 million found in one of the aids to the governor was part of the security vote for the state.
But the leadership of APGA in a reaction declared that the lawmakers have not only derailed but are frustrated by the refusal of the state Assembly members to indict Governor Peter Obi on the alleged N255 scam.
According to the party, the federal lawmakers have not only failed the people but have abandoned their primary responsibility.
